And its colour is witness: a youthful, heady ruby-red, fullvolumed and luminous, that classically assumes tones of garnet with the passing of the years. The nose boasts the typical Cabernet herbaceousness, followed by crisp raspberry and an intriguing impression of sweet violets. The palate, full-bodied and dry, exhibits an appreciable balance between tannins and a supple mouthfeel, and concludes with a well-calibrated finish laced with smooth fruit.
